This foundations and methods programme focuses on advancing fundamental research in an interdisciplinary context, and on developing novel integrative methodology for the big challenges we face in science and society. By studying and discussing fundamental concepts, and by developing new integrative approaches and tools we aim to bridge disciplines, scales and paradigms, and unravel wicked problems.
