Alfons Hoekstra (Professor of Computational BioMedicine) and Peter Sloot (Professor of Computational Science and IAS Scientific Director) are involved in a large European research consortium that aims to create the Virtual Human: CompBioMed. In this interview with Folia they reflect on the current state-of-the-art in computational biomedicine and explain why we all should want to have a virtual twin.
CompBioMed is a European Commission H2020 funded Centre of Excellence focussed on the use and development of computational methods for biomedical applications.
