The new research priority area Personal Microbiome Health unites researchers in oral and gut microbiome science with public health, social and behavioural sciences, complexity- and data science. Together they receive 2,25 million euro from the University of Amsterdam to study complex host-microbiome-environment interactions.

Personal Microbiome Health is a research collaboration between ACTA, Amsterdam UMC and the Faculty of Science. It will be regularly hosted as theme group at the IAS.
