About Yu-Cheng Hung

Yu-Cheng is based in Taiwan and has been involved in several projects inspired by Latour's Parliament of Things. Over the years, she has gathered extensive multidisciplinary knowledge and has built a solid base of experience through a multiplicity of projects on multispecies democracies and their practices.

She has been invited by The Embassy of the North Sea to take part in the third Confluence of European Water Bodies, which is set to take place 21-24 September in The Netherlands. Born out of growing water challenges and demands for water democracy worldwide, the Confluence sprang from a collective pursuit of a deeper understanding of the 'Rights of 'Nature' in Europe. As a learning system for water diplomacy, new strategies for effectively representing water in Europe's cultural, legal and political realms are being explored, rehearsed and advocated.
