Title

Data driven discovery of stochastic dynamical

Abstract

In theoretical ecology, we often write mechanistic models in the form of differential equations and make various predictions. Here, I introduce the audience to the inverse problem: Is it possible to infer the underlying equations we had only time series data from models?  Specifically, I will present an equation discovery methodology that takes time series data of state variables as input and outputs a stochastic differential equation.
