About Prof. Ineke Sluiter

Prof. Ineke Sluiter is a professor of Greek Language and Literature at Leiden University working on the intersection of cultural history and linguistics. She is a Spinoza Prize laureate and has served as president of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. 

In addition, she is one of the four founding members of Athena’s Angels, a platform and community to inform about and improve inequality in the scientific community.
