This seminar series, a collaboration between IAS and Futures Reframed, is about understanding and learning from the people, projects and institutions already practicing science otherwise. We gather around luminous examples: the academics, journals and communities doing things differently. From there, we hope to spark ripple effects. We encourage experiments that help us make small changes in our own working lives, because reimagining academia starts with what we do on Monday. We bring together emerging and established scholars, researchers and the people who support them, practitioners and deeply theoretical minds - anyone with a heart for academia.
