Roland Kupers and Sara Heinrich have won an Educators' Challenge Award from the Global Challenges Foundation for their high school complexity curriculum.


The Educators’ Challenge is a competition created by the Global Challenges Foundation, which seeks innovative approaches to engage students and broader audiences in discussions on the importance and principles of global governance, its history and its potential future. Ten educators, of various kinds, who have done an outstanding job of promoting positive action in regard to both global collaboration and global catastrophic risks, received an award in London on May 15th 2019. Kupers and Heinrich received the prize for their school curriculum in complexity science - for engaging with global challenges and their governance.
