Science, Art and the Humanities at Worlding the Brain 2017
IAS Associate Patricia Pisters is co-organising the Worlding the Brain Conference, from 2 till 4 November 2017 in Amsterdam.
At the multi-disciplinary Worlding the Brain conference you will find an exciting combination of Science, Art and the Humanities. This year's central themes are: Affect, Care and Engagement.
Besides keynote addresses by Vittorio Gallese, Felicity Callard, Alva Noë, the conference will host several multi-disciplinary panels. Artists, (cognitive) neuroscientists, health workers and humanities scholars are invited to engage in paper presentations, dialogues, performances and artistic work.
On the second day of the conference, there is a special evening programme at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam.
