Think Tank “HIV elimination prospectives in Amsterdam”
The Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) and the HIV Transmission Elimination Amsterdam initiative (H-TEAM) organise a think tank to explore how intervention efforts towards HIV elimination can benefit from interdisciplinary collaboration and integration of diverse data sources using various computational models.
The goal of the think tank is to discuss what type of data and computational predictive models are required to explore novel intervention strategies that aim to eliminate HIV from the city of Amsterdam. For that we will bring together a team of experts and provide them with an overview of clinical-, demographic-, geographic-, and city specific data, as well as contemporary computational models such as agent based models, text mining, epidemiological models, complex networks, spatial models.
This event is part of the IAS research theme “Health Systems Complexity”.
